Citizens for NO New Debt is a 501(c)4 organization

Donations to 501(c)(4) organizations are NOT tax-deductible as charitable contributions for Federal income tax purposes.

All across the country, donors give billions to 501(c)(4) groups, even though they get no tax deduction for it.  They do it because they’re what we call “true believers”.  They put their money where their passions are.

501(c)4 organizations may engage in political lobbying and political campaign activities. This includes donations to political committees that oppose bond debt and other ballot measures.
