Our Mission is no less than to defeat new government debt throughout Metro-Denver and all of Colorado. This will be a continual process of organizational development over the next ten years.
My Name is Jason Bailey
In my lifetime I’ve been a contractor, a printer, an ad man, a sailor, a runner, a mountaineer, a restaurateur, a volunteer and contributor. After 30 years of business in Denver Colorado I was pulled into politics. This is a calling for me. My work is to organize Citizens for NO New Debt. We have one mission: To defeat new government debt throughout Metro-Denver and all of Colorado.

Bill Patterson
William P. Patterson – Retired CPA. Bill began his CPA career with the international accounting firm of Arthur Andersen & Co. He then transitioned to his own CPA firm serving businesses and their owners for more than 45 years—advising clients in business, financial, tax and accounting matters. Bill says, “Best and foremost advice I always gave clients was to become debt free, both business wise and personally.”
Bill has served with several charitable organizations over his entire lifetime, served a mission in Finland for his church for 30 months. He has been married to his high school sweetheart for 58 years, he raised four outstanding children and he loves his seven grandchildren to the moon and back. Bill is proud to be an Eagle Scout, loves his country and the Constitution. He looks forward to many more years of serving his family and country. Denver, Colorado.

James Engelbrecht
Mr. Engelbrecht spent 40 years in nearly all aspects of Finance. First as a tax return preparer for individuals and businesses, then, after graduation from Brigham Young University he practiced ten years as a CPA / Auditor with the big four firm KPMG. As Chief Financial Officer of several companies over the ensuing years, he came to understand the valid and invalid use of debt.
“It is always tempting to incur debt for things ‘needed.’ But the invalid use of debt leads to ruin.” This is why he supports and endorses the mission of Citizens for No New Debt.
“Why would we allow–vote for—our community to plunge into the pit of debt when we know it is nearly impossible to climb out? We have allowed our politicians and their crony benefactor bankers to dig us into an unfathomable depth of debt. No new debt is the first step to recovery.” Broomfield, Colorado.
