Jason Bailey, Founder, Citizens for NO New Debt.
Thank you very much for taking the time to read this letter.
Working overtime for 14 years to own/operate a restaurant in Denver, Colorado, I experienced first-hand how difficult it is to get the bills paid when you do good work taking care of other people – restaurant work, teaching, nursing, truck drivers, retail work, etc.
For more than 14 years now, I have been working to improve the ability for everyday people to get the rent paid. I have been working to improve the ability for everyday people to have money in their pocket – to buy food, to fix the car, to get the bills paid.
Why is it so difficult to get the bills paid? One reason is that our financial/ banking systems are taking far too much of our money. Our money just trickles-up so quickly that we find it difficult to get the bills paid, sometimes all-together too difficult. Government debt only accelerates this trickle-up.
Many people think that government debt helps their life when the reality of the situation is that government debt feeds Wall-street banking, as we, the People, run out of money. The interest and fees and other expenses pertaining to government debt are far too expensive – money from the People to the banks.
We have formed this organization for you and every citizen of the United States and the World, especially those who work and labor for a living, and those who struggle to pay the rent, and those who struggle to pay the bills.
This is my dream job and I’m lucky to have it. I’m looking forward to working damn hard to reduce government debt. I’m committed to taking on the financial/ banking Greed – and reducing this Greed.
